A biodigester is a hermetically sealed container that contains organic waste of plant or animal origin (rotting meat, excrement, etc.).

A group of microorganisms present in the organic waste produce a reaction known as anaerobic fermentation, from which energy can be obtained. Biodigesters are an economical and effective alternative in rural communities around the world.

In short, they are an effective alternative to address global warming.
